Swedish Massage
The most recognized style of massage ideal for overall relaxation, improved circulation, and release from muscle tension. A Swedish massage relaxes muscles using massage oils and a combination of kneading, stroking and tapping, as well as elements of friction and vibration. The intensity of this massage can vary – discuss your comfort level with the massage therapist.

Deep Tissue/Sports Massage
Alleviates chronic muscle tension and pain by using slower, deeper techniques that penetrate problem areas. A deep tissue massage reaches past the outer muscle layers and into the connective tissues. This is why deep tissue massages are especially helpful for releasing chronic pain. This massage technique also releases toxins stored deep in the muscles, creating an overall relaxing effect.

Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
Neuromuscular and structural bodywork is a special modality that addresses pain patterns. Often muscles will have a buildup of lactic acid and can cause trigger point formation, which results in common patterns of pain. A good example of this is headaches, sciatica, low back pain, and tennis elbow. A skilled neuromuscular therapist can offer relief by going to the source of the pain and releasing the trigger points. Let us know when you are making your appointment if you have specific chronic pain patterns. You can schedule a neuromuscular appointment or NMT can be combined with your swedish massage as well.

Swedish/NMT Combo Massage
The best of both worlds! This massage combines the therapeutic application of massage to address specific pain patterns and alleviate stress with the relaxing aspects of Swedish massage as well. The combo massage starts off with specific focus on trigger points and problem areas and finishes off with relaxation massage and releasing toxins from the muscles.

Couples Massage
Get your massage together! It’s important to take time to nourish yourselves and your relationship. This is the perfect date-night treatment and we have evening and weekend hours available to accomodate your date night massages. Couples receive the massage together in the same room with two skilled licensed massage therapists.

Pregnancy Massage
This is essential for moms experiencing the beauty and challenges of growing a new life. This massage is a combination of a relaxing, nurturing approach, coupled with clinical structural bodywork and includes long strokes, kneading and friction techniques, combined with neuromuscular therapy, Strain Counterstrain and Myofascial release.
